Approximately over 15,000 children between the ages of birth and 19 years of age are diagnosed with a critical illness. For a child to be diagnosed with a critical illness, a wish come true can be a turning point of hope in their lives.
On August 2019, Legacy Logistics USA supports Make-A-Wish vision to help grant the wish of Peter R “I wish to have a play structure!”
Peter is an adventurous and energetic 3-yeard-old boy who has passion for the outdoors. In December 2018, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Burkitt’s lymphoma and his time spent outside turned into days spent inside the hospital. Because of his weaken immune system he was unable to play outside with his friends.
On the day of his wish, Peter was surprised by Legacy Logistics USA with his dream play structure that came with a slide, swing set, and a miniature telescope. Seeing his eyes sparkle with so much joy was the moment we realized that a wish can renew hope, uplift spirits and encourages the belief in the impossible. Legacy Logistics USA will continue to help share the power of a wish for kids all across Inland Empire and Orange County.
